Our Story

Architecture has held a special place in the Sekulić family since 1961. That year, Miloš Sekulić, instead of enrolling in medical school, decided, driven by his passion for construction, to pursue studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Belgrade. After graduating, Miloš embarked on a successful career as a lead designer in state enterprises, shaping numerous projects of various purposes and scales.

This invaluable experience culminated on April 12, 1992, when Miloš, together with his wife Mica, founded the private company “Arhimis.” From the very beginning, “Arhimis” was a family endeavor that Miloš successfully led until 2004. At that point, his son Nikola, a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, took over the leadership role, following in his father’s footsteps. Under Nikola’s direction, the company gained new momentum – new professionals were hired, and the scope of work expanded to meet the increasingly complex demands of the market.

The family story is further enriched by Nikola’s wife, Natasa, who specializes in interior design, completing “Arhimis’s” comprehensive approach to building creation – from conceptual design to detailed interior design.

Today, “Arhimis” is a team of eight talented professionals – architects, engineers, and designers – working together to create top-tier architectural solutions. We closely collaborate with specialized firms for structural design, installations, fire protection, technology, and specialized systems and certification standards for various types of buildings, ensuring a comprehensive and professional approach to every project.

“Arhimis” has become synonymous with design that combines modern functionality and aesthetics. Over more than thirty years, this family company has left its mark on architecture by creating buildings that stand as a testament to timeless quality. Since its founding, the “Arhimis” portfolio has included numerous projects for residential, commercial, industrial, and public buildings – schools, kindergartens, hospitals, sports facilities, and many other spaces with diverse purposes.
