Industrial building Deltaplast

The project of reconstruction and extension of the industrial hall where the latest generation UV printing is carried out. The building is an excellent example of the transformation of visual identity through architectural elements used during the extension

It is always a special feeling when we have the opportunity to design buildings for family-owned businesses, just like ours. Deltaplast is a company founded in 1990 that has been successfully operating for more than three decades. We are pleased to say that they entrusted us with designing and visually enhancing their building.

We developed the complete project documentation, covering all phases of design – from the conceptual solution, through obtaining the construction permit, to the execution project. The building is located in Sušica, near Zlatibor, and was designed on a plot of 11,750 m². With a gross developed construction area of 3,872 m², this industrial building represents a modern solution that will fully meet the needs and standards of the company.

The extension and reconstruction of an existing building always require special attention during the execution of works due to specific details that must be efficiently and quickly resolved. During the extension process, the client’s request was for the existing part of the building to remain operational to ensure the continuity of production. We adapted the design and construction to meet these requirements and successfully fulfilled all of the client’s demands.

The existing building is a hall with a massive frame system, which has been modified and extended over the years in accordance with the growth and development of production. During those periods, aesthetics were not a primary factor, as the main focus was on functionality and the needs of the production process. However, everything changed when a business decision was made to approach the architectural design of the building, making aesthetics one of the key aspects of the reconstruction and extension process. Since then, a strong emphasis has been placed on aligning the visual appearance with modern architectural trends, without compromising the building’s functionality.
