Residential building in the Great Park

We have developed the complete project documentation – from the initial idea and building permit to the execution project and interior – for a family residential building in the recreational zone of the Great Park in Užice, on the banks of the Đetinja River. The building is designed on a plot of 431 m², with a gross developed building area of 295 m².
The building is organized into three functional zones arranged vertically. The basement, in contact with the street and promenade, contains a garage and technical rooms. The second level, the ground floor, is intended for daily activities and is connected to the private yard, located on the opposite side from the promenade. On the top level, the first floor, three bedrooms are designed. All functional units are connected by an internal staircase.
Due to the unfavorable orientation of the building towards the north, large glass surfaces were designed facing the best view – towards the Đetinja River and the city. The southern side, which is near the Belgrade–Bar railway line, was avoided due to noise and undesirable views.
The façade is designed with a decorative technique in two colors to emphasize the dynamic form of the building. Dark shades of joinery and reflective glass with a mirror effect were selected, ensuring privacy within the space.
This project represents a perfect synthesis of modern architecture and the natural environment. The interior spaces are designed to provide maximum comfort and functionality, with a strong connection to the natural surroundings. The contemporary design and ecological sensitivity enable living in harmony with nature, while maintaining high standards of aesthetics and quality of life. The building is thoughtfully positioned to meet the needs of family life, with direct access to recreational and natural amenities.
