Residential building on the city beach

This modern and luxurious home, thanks to our architectural signature, has become a visual landmark in the urban fabric of the city beach in Užice

We created the complete project documentation – from the initial concept, through obtaining the building permit, to developing the construction project. Additionally, we designed a detailed interior project for a family residential building located in the city beach zone in Užice. The building is constructed on a 750 m² plot, with a gross developed area of 578 m².

The location is at the very beginning of the city beach, near the public children’s pool and the former “Turist” hotel building. The building is oriented southward, allowing maximum enjoyment of sunlight, while all spaces offer open views of the promenade and city beach. The design is characterized by clean cubic forms that create a monumental impression. The massiveness of the volume is visually softened by large glass surfaces that provide an abundance of natural light inside and establish a strong visual connection between the interior and exterior.

The building is organized as a functional unit divided into four zones, distributed across different levels:

Basement: A space dedicated to auxiliary and additional facilities, including a gym and a home theater
Ground floor: A spacious living room with a dining area and kitchen forms the heart of this level. The living space has direct access to the yard, which features a swimming pool and an outdoor lounge area, seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior zones
First floor: A sleeping area with three bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a private walk-in closet and bathroom. A gallery overlooking the living room, with a height of 6 meters, enhances the sense of spaciousness and further emphasizes the luxury of the space
Walkable rooftop terrace: The final level is a terrace partially covered with retractable pergolas. This space offers opportunities for relaxation, quality outdoor living, and enjoyment of panoramic views

This project represents an example of contemporary architecture that combines functionality, aesthetics, and the full utilization of its location. The design and concept are tailored to meet all the needs of modern family living, offering top-tier comfort and luxury.

The interior design project for this building, which represents the perfect blend of architecture and elegance, defines all the architectural details necessary to achieve the desired visual impact. The documentation contains 126 pages of detailed drawings, elaborating on every element of the interior, including the finest details.

The main idea behind the project was to create a modern space that completely corresponds with the building’s architecture, while adding elegance and high style. The interior design was carefully conceptualized to provide a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetics.

By using premium materials and a meticulous approach to every segment of the design process, a result was achieved that exceeds expectations. The materials used not only ensure durability but also contribute to the luxurious appearance of the space.

This interior design project represents an example of exceptional attention to detail and alignment with the architecture. The result is a modern space that exudes style and elegance, setting new standards in the design of family homes.

The construction of the building began in August 2021 and was completed in December 2022. The building was constructed using a reinforced concrete skeleton system, which allowed the designed façade surfaces to be large enough to achieve the desired visual effect. The combination of façade techniques with brick gave the façade an exclusive appearance, while the use of wood and interior finishing techniques further emphasized the visual impression inside the building.

The computer-generated visualization of the designed state is a key step towards the successful realization of the project. We present photorealistic computer models of both the interior and exterior, which allow us, as well as the investors, to view the house in its entirety before the actual construction begins.

Using the example of a wall in the hallway, we aim to showcase the process from drawing creation to the realization of the designed detail through three phases. First, the project drawing was created, then a 3D model was made, and finally, the execution state was achieved, fully corresponding to the designer’s vision.
